I grew up in a blue collar family in a small Mill town in Central Massachusetts, the oldest of five children. In the days of Leave it to Beaver, but, more like Archie Bunkers household. We were raised Catholic and my teenage years were spent exclusively around the church. Altar Boy, Boy Scouts, CYC (Catholic Youth Council), and Janitor. I married my high school sweetheart in the church, had a son, and divorced six years later. Forced into the military because of the draft, served four years and started a career working for a large utility. From the age of sixteen until my late twenties I suffered from the guilt of having been raised as a Catholic. I figured out that God had too be an all loving God and started my spiritual search for deeper meaning to life. I attended services at an Episcopal church, joined the United Church of Christ for a couple of years but neither satisfied a deeper yearning I had within. Than I hit upon the idea of getting possible answers from several mediums; there was "Ted" the Warlock. Epiphany, the Angel guide, and several others during a two year period of searching. I was still living with guilt of not attending church on Sundays, until I realized it really was the rituals of the church that I was missing and nothing more.Than came Elana. I read in a one page article of a women, a medium named Elana. The article was quite interesting, here was someone I would visit and make my own assessment. Elana lives in Central Massachusetts in a modest Cape Cod style home. This is the early "80's" and I knock on the side door of her home. She opens the door and says oh Leonard come in, it is so nice to meet you. Would you like a cup of coffee? Immediately, I found her very congenial, we sat and talked for a bit and than she brought me upstairs to a second floor room where a table was set up with two chairs facing each other and some sort of board game was set up on the surface of the table. My eyes were immediately drawn to a number of "stones" as I called them on the table. I began admiring a pink stone and was told that it was Rose quartz crystal and it's properties were to heal broken hearts. The second stone I picked up was Amethyst, a beautiful purple colored crystal which one of it"s properties was to open you psychically! Well, I immediately dropped the stone on the table... OPEN ME PSYCHICALLY! Than and there I became rattled. What had I gotten myself into? Elana immediately put her hand over mine and said don't be alarmed that they were some of her tools that she used. There and than she was shuffling a deck of cards and fanned them out across the game board and said pick thirteen cards! Oh no... Thirteen... Bells and whistles go off in my head. The dreaded number "13", now we all know what the vibration of thirteen implies... As unknowing as I was at the time. Foreboding, comes to mind. Changing course here... Elana tells me you just came back from a trip to Mexico... Did you like it? Yes, I did. "Well you know you are going back!" I said really, this is when she caught my attention. She told me you have a Son, and I said yes. Well, he's a very fine young boy. I said thank you. She said he will bring much joy to your life (:>). She told me she saw love in my future and a new home. Little did I know at the time, but, I bought a home in the very same town as she lived in!Six months later I returned for a second reading. Basically the same routine as the first time but feeling far more comfortable with her. I said to her "you know, when I see the numbers 7-11 as in the store I don't see 7-11, I see the number "9" why is that?" She said to me, well have you ever heard of Numerology? I replied no, I hadn't. Well, you'll have to pick up a book on Numerology and this was the BEGINNING... I didn't have a clue as to how much this would come to mean to me in life at the time, but, now I am well aware and will share with you later. This was the beginning of a dear friendship, I returned to visit Elana every six months... Spring and Fall for several years. She was and has been a mentor to me. As an aside... My family lived at 112 ______ Street. Well, 1+1 +2 = "4". Four's aspects in numerology are "unexpected events, unexpected challenges" I can attest to this with stories of validation. Notice, there is an "11" here, a master number... Representing what is said... A child of exception in a birth name, exceedingly good things will occur here, however, the other side of the eleven is when "shit" hits the fan... It REALLY hits the fan. So we have an"11 and a "2", well we know that eleven adds up to two. Two's aspects relate to the Moon, women, emotions etc. (as the number "1" represents the Sun, Man, new beginnings). I only have one sister, but this fit her to the "T" as is said. A psychiatrist once told my parents that she "swings" with the Moon, as in her behavior, as to, acting out, shall I say during periods of the Full Moon.By the way... The first numerology book I picked was by a Numerologist named Dusty Bunker, several of her books are available at Amazon.com both new and used. I found her methods to be simple to understand and not getting too deep at the time.
